Actually my Vietnamese ancestors were pretty keen on kicking out the Chinese, but, well. We can talk about "society" and I wouldn't disagree that the overall "society" sure is racist, but some members of society will do the work to be anti-racist and anti-colonial. The proportion will vary among countries. The anti-Treaty Principles Bill hikoi in Aotearoa was broadly supported though.
