Have they worked out how much it would cost to rent space in El Salvador prisons to send them the small percentage of foreign national prisoners (presumably only the ones with long sentences) It would cost them an absolute fortune if the Rwanda experience is anything to go by. Do they not know that foreign nationals with a sentence more than 12 months can be considered for deportation anyway?
