@bich@apobangpo.space The first advice a lot of my friends (especially but not exclusively female ones) get from doctors is to "lose weight" even when it's not relevant to their concerns. More than once I've seen people prescribed GLP-1s without Drs bothering to check if they have eating disorders or other mental illnesses in their history. It feels like doctors are more scared of being seen to treat fat people than of giving people eating disorders that could kill them.
