I just learned that oat milk was discovered in the 1960s, when NASA found out by accident what zero-g environments do to goat milk.

@gvwilson@mastodon.social So the first time someone told me this joke I totally missed it. And so I looked up how oat milk was invented... and it was in the 1990s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oat_milk Almond and Soy milk both go back to about 1226 and 1365 respectively.
