Happy Birthday Anime Hanabi! Woo, it’s my wee little blog’s birthday today! I know I’m supposed to post an episode review, and I even talked about it in my last post, but with this special day, I just thought I needed to give my little blog a shout out! Wow, I can’t believe that Anime Hanabi is a whopping five years old. My blog is old enough to go on to kindergarten now! My little blog isn’t a baby anymore! Probably knows how to tie its own shoes and everything. When I first started this blog, I never thought it would last this long. I honestly just started it as a way to relax and enjoy two things that I loved in one place. Writing and watching anime. And over the years I have had so much fun both writing this blog and reading the anime blogs of others. I’ve met so many wonderful anime fans. I’ve learned so much about anime I’d never even heard of before, I’ve gained such a deeper understanding of anime series I know and love, and I’ve learned so much more about writing itself. Being part of the anime blog-o-sphere has definitely made me a better writer. So thank you to all the wonderful anime bloggers out there that have made this five year journey such a fun and memorable one, and I hope to continue on this Otaku path with my blog by my side for many years to come.
