@varis@mementomori.social we went on a student excursion some 10 years ago, mostly on Kyushu. I think it was May. The reds on the torii gates were (and I guess still are) insane 😂 especially combined with the lush greens of the forests like in Beppu where we went to see all the different hot springs (equally insane)
