Is Alley Cats potentially the first show where there isn't a side in the so-called "culture wars"?
Because it isn't just "snowflakes" who thought it was crap.
Even GBeebies, who will normally promote anything that they think will "trigger" people to the left of Oswald Mosley, slated it as well.
Their reviewer Alex Davies, suggested that it was bad that it was time for Ricky Gervais to quit TV.
For once, I actually agree with GammonBox News.

@ShredderLivesOn@mastodon.scot I've disliked Gervais since before he was internationally famous, so there's zero chance of me watching that tripe. I did vaguely enjoy The Office...until it became clear he was basically satirising himself, and that he really is as shallow, bigoted and generally unpleasant as his David Brent character. It's unwatchable to me now.
