I scattered native plant seeds on Sat Feb 21: * Early goldenrod / Solidago juncea * Virginia bluebells / Mertensia virginica * Canadian wood betony / Pedicularis canadensis I scraped at the leaves & dirt and tried to drop seeds into crevices/depressions so they would be protected, while still technically on the surface. I hear these seeds need light to grow and can't be buried deep. Was this too late for cold stratification? #NativePlants #gardening #zone7b #Philly #ColdStratification
