@troed@masto.sangberg.se LLMs ought to be approached the same way - the ones who praise LLMs for being the best thing since sliced bread, mostly don't know how to do shit - they don't write, create, code - but with this new tool "they can".
Because they have this flashy new tool, they don't need to learn the fundementals, which in turn will lead to issues when the LLM spit out stuff they don't understand but expect to be correct - which often it is not.

@thanius@mastodon.chuggybumba.com In my experience the people who loathe LLMs are the ones who don't know how to do things themselves and have just jumped on the latest identity-bandwagon where they can sit and scream various feel-good slogans. The tale of human development is the tale of tool usage. All generations ever have said that the new generations are lazy due to the new tools they use. All generations ever have been wrong.
