@nyx@fedi.wasp.best ah yes the privacy-focused service that insists your account be tied to your phone number, is now giving you the option to instead have your account tied to a credit card the problem with requiring a phone number is i cannot anonymously create an account, and my account can be easily tied back to my real world identity-- making me pay money for it solves exactly 0 of these problems. signal try not to seem like a honeypot challenge (impossible)
