Commander Vimes didn&#39;t like the phrase &#39;The innocent have nothing to fear&#39;, believing the innocent had everything to fear, mostly from the guilty but in the longer term even more from those who say things like &#39;The innocent have nothing to fear&#39;. @Anoia@mendeddrum.org that's odd. I'm nearly 60 and I'm only reading the discworld novels now (I'm ashamed) ... I haven't gotten to "snuff" yet but I could have sworn I already read that passage in one of the other books. I just finished Night Watch. Maybe it was in one of the annotations in Night Watch rather than the book itself 🤔

@Anoia@mendeddrum.org This exact book is my current evening lecture :) It is unfortunate that with this book the city watch series ends. On the plus side, I have the Rincewind series already waiting for me :)
