Fred Meyer, a hypermarket chain owned by Kroger, seems to be all in on confusing. Discounts don't always show up when scanned at self-checkout, sometimes only after I hit "pay now." (I can still go back and scan more.) Other discounts don't even show up at all because I used my physical loyalty card, like an idiot. _Those_ items required an *e*coupon from their app. I've also seen items with two discounts: one for physical cards, and an extra discount for the app. It's very tiresome.
