relying on vanilla Linux/UNIX features FTW
rule of thumb: if it worked just fine 20-40 years ago it will still work today and in 20-40 years from now. not guaranteed, obvs, but a *wise* way to bet

@synlogic4242@social.vivaldi.net What is "command line"? Can I download it on the Apple Store? For the last few months, I've been writing far more shell scripts than anything compiled. And all in csh derivatives. None of that bash hooey.
