@rl_dane @skewray@mathstodon.xyz thanks! thats on my list to kick tires with but am hoping to avoid it, cuz I have mixed feelings about some things I've observed about. I do like the strategy of staying back on 8.x, no AI, no vibe coding bros, no new big vimscript-ification (security smell -- begging to setup a security exploit in something we need to be able to trust with read access to our private data (source code,config files, fiction & non-fiction writings, PII etc). wise, but I see some non-wisdom that made me hesitiate haha
