My partner bought a box of multi-coloured fruity popsicles and then took them out of the box, to sit loosely in the top basket of the chest freezer (a sensible decision: the box would not have fit neatly). I did not, however, take a moment to read the box before it went out with the recycling. So now I am here staring at the rainbow of colours and wondering whether a green one will be lime (my favourite), or melon (yuck), or green apple (meh). I might just make the safe decision and choose orange (which will 90% of the time be orange -flavour, my second-favourite, and only occasionally be mango, a perfectly acceptable choice also, if not as tasty as the citrus ones). Because if I open a green one and it is melon, it will go to waste, as I am home alone at the moment with no one to fob it off to. Really wish they just had labels on the sticks or something.
