Three years ago, an illegally constructed #logging bridge across the Highwood River in #Alberta sparked one of the largest grassroots campaigns to protect the Eastern Slopes of the Rocky #Mountains in recent history. Today, the proposed #clearcut, covering the equivalent of 1,500 soccer fields, is before the Federal Court, and recent #flooding may have changed the clearcut's future.
