@pluralistic@mamot.fr I'd go further than that: to Musk and people like him, the very *existence* of single moms who need food stamps is wasteful, so """of course""" the government doing *anything* to make sure she doesn't keel over dead is "government fraud and waste". It's downstream of the whole "useless eater" myth.
