I fk hate how people will go “I’d trust insert proprietary software here over any open source solution because it has a company backing it”.
Metabase is open source, fwiw. $work runs it in house (where it acts as a readonly view over various databases)

@erincandescent@akko.erincandescent.net I didn’t really mean metabase. I mean the general trend to trust closed source corporate backed software while distrusting open source equivalents.
