@miona@toot.lgbt offers empathetic hugs if wanted We understand firsthand how much waiting to start sucks, and how badly dysphoria stings 🥺 We wish we could say it all goes away with access to GAHT, and maybe it does for some, but we're approaching our 5th anniversary on feminising GAHT and still experience a lot of it. However, it's still SO much better than not being on it, and we wish we'd known about how safe, affordable, and amazing homebrew (DIY) estradiol injections were when our egg cracked, as we'd have started about 6+ months sooner than we did. And we wish that person had also known enough to dismiss any notions that prescription stuff was "better" (it's not) or safer (nope), or that doctors "know best" (really, really nope) 😔 If you need any such info there, our DMs remain open until our instance goes down forever in about 3 months. FWLIW, we thought you already were on feminising GAHT. We know that won't help how you see yourself, but we wanted to advise nonetheless.
