@RockyC@fosstodon.org Nice demo of how fingerprinting works. It did get many of the details wrong, which doesn't matter for fingerprinting, but made it feel less scary.

@RockyC@fosstodon.org I've tested it with Tor-Browser on Linux and Android. I got "roughly 1 in 120.0 million browsers look like yours." in both cases. Did anybody else try with Tor-Browser?

@RockyC@fosstodon.org It said "this page asked for zero permissions." That's an outright lie. It asked to create a webGL context, which my browser (Librewolf) let me decline. And it got a lot wrong, including my computer type, public IP address, screen resolution (twice) and trackpad. So I'll sleep OK tonight.
