After clearing that Picross page, I ended up playing Eschatos for the rest of the night. Returning to this timeless classic felt so great. Although I haven't put much time into the Switch version yet, as I had the Japanese 360 version and then the PS4 one. Sadly this is the only game Qute trilogy that made it to Switch, at least it's my favourite by far. It's a vertical STG with wave based enemies. Downing a wave will net you a score bonus. It's a very straight forward setup, but at the same time, one of the most satisfying shooters as well. It's basically a sequel to Judgement Silversword on the WonderSwan, which is also included. The normal more is just feels relaxing to play, while the Advanced mode switches up the gameplay, so there's a lot to come back to. There's also a Time Attack mode. And switching from the starting easy setting to the more difficult ones really brings the game to life.
