@charlie2alpha@fedi.charlie2alpha.org if i wanted to enjoy content, there's lots of it shared through the fediverse. pictures, silly videos, posts on the web, gemini or even gopher etc.
as for cloudflare, i have a negative opinion about them, because of some shitty things they have done over time. i prefer to avoid them when i have the option for it.
but i get it when it comes to hosting from home. ISPs are *ass*

@gettie@fedi.catto.garden especially certain Greek ones. Luckily I'm on the largest German one currently and it still gives me a proper dual stack connection but there's no guarantee that'll last forever. So I'm keeping my options open with alternative solutions already on the standby.
