Reddit never was the same after the whole API/Mod fiasco. Many subreddits simpy died. Old users that made the site what it is left and there were new ones, but the whole vibe shifted.

it wasnt the same when they used the banhammer on “illicit subs” during trumps first turn, every sub just had political elements in after that, and that was the same time russia started thier trolling, and the bannings began then.
