The bean plants never disappoint. These will be going into the freezer for the winter. And the fresh eating is great and so full of flavour. 💚 And, rain barrels for the save as the plants need more water in the higher temps. They're almost empty but a lot of rain is coming, starting tomorrow. During the earlier extreme heat wave, I also had to put a filtering screen over the tender, sprouted seedlings during the hottest parts of the day. We've been lucky this summer as the barrels managed to make it between rains. I did add an extra one, though for this year and now have 3. So far, adapting but for how many more summers? I'm now looking into how I can extend longer into the Fall and plan to try with a few things this year. #GrowYourOwn #Gardening #PlantBased
