"The U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) is drawing down at roughly 9 million barrels per week. Triggered by global supply shocks and the war with Iran, total reserves recently fell to roughly 349 million barrels. This rate translates to a daily withdrawal of about 1.2 to 1.3 million barrels per day for emergency releases" Thats 9 months left in the SPR at the current rate of draw down.
