    @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org That's surprisingly dumb idea. Danube's flow is still around 1400 m³/s (at least from what I've checked). Good luck holding that flow with barges. And what they will do in the following years? In Hungary and Poland (different river but same process) they just shut down power plants.
