The coverage on the US jobs market is just all over the place. It's been "steady" all year and now this "unexpected" drop.
Go back to early 2026 and "The U.S. labor market was much weaker than originally reported in 2025, according to delayed federal data released Wednesday, even as more jobs were added to start 2026 than expected."
