Ok, newly acquired pro-by-experience tip to my autistic folks. When corresponding with the authorities (and possibly anyone else non-autistic), whatever it is, no matter how complicated issue it is, just send them *one* question at the time, preferably with as little background and other explanatory additions as possible . No "Here's the situation, should do x and what are the ramifications, and if not, what should I do instead. If something else, is there anything I need to take in account?". Just ask, "should I do x", and when they reply, send the next question. Annoying as hell for sure, they prolly get annoyed with you too, but seems like be it doctors or clerks or whatnot, if you give them a bunch of questions and scenarios, they pick one and get hung up on that one, and it's probably not the most important one you need to get answered. #TheMoreYouKnow #ActuallyAutistic
