@davidtheeviloverlord@mastodon.social @futurebird@sauropods.win This seems to be the case with so many of these non-politicians who go into politics, whether it's to be POTUS or a town councillor. They're completely shocked that it's actual work and people's well-being depends on that work. Most of it not very glamorous work, and somebody is always angry about whatever they do. The triumphant day of the election win quickly fades into the past and a metric fuckton of problems they have no idea how to fix hits their desk.

It’s not fundamentally a matter of him not understanding—if you were somehow able to explain it to him, it wouldn’t change anything. He has malicious intent.
