tbh I think it's a crime that mainland USians don't learn the history of their own imperialist overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom, or the looting and rampaging across the Pacific (Guam, Philippines, Samoa and other Polynesian civilizations, etc). Who doesn't know about the Bayonet Constitution, or why it's called that? lol. The basic ass shit I learned in school would be considered radical even before the Trump push to ""de-wokify"" education, it's kinda wild
