I’m not sure that being labelled a future benefit claimant at primary school is the great motivating force that Milburn and #Labour think it is. We abolished the 11+ in the UK because we didn’t want children to be written off at that age and wanted equal opportunity of education. Primary school kids think of jobs in a similar way to how they think of fairytales…this will be just crushing and become a self fulfilling prophecy.
