Update from #RisingTide, regarding the arrests last year at "The People's Blockade of the World's Largest Coal Port". They write: "NSW police have officially dropped ALL charges against 125 people arrested at the 2024 People's Blockade! 🎉🌊 Thats 250 charges DROPPED! Including 125 counts of an anti-protest charge that included a maximum of 2 years in prison and $22K. Why? There were simply too many of us out on the water that the police could not keep track of everyone and provide sufficient evidence. This is proof that acts of mass civil disobedience work. When thousands of us come together to disrupt the world's largest coal port, we are un-policeable.
