In case you ever wondered, the lifetime of a #Fairphone 5 battery is 16 months, apparently. 😐 I guess that's a need to repair now. Kinda disappointing. I even used their battery life enhancing options for the better half of that time. Overall, I had this impression after a couple months and it looks like it's still true what some people say: With a Fairphone, you actually do get a rather mediocre phone for the price of a good phone. I really hope it does make a positive impact elsewhere.

I wanted to figure out if a dead battery this fast might be covered by warranty. In the confirmation for the extended warranty, they claim that everything will be "very easy" when I bought directly from #Fairphone. "Very easy" involves ten things you are required to try before they even look at your case, one of which is a factory reset, followed by two days without installing apps or restoring my data. wtf. Replacing the battery is 44 bucks and a 1 min repair, but the warranty is a joke, ok.
