@Kels_316@aus.social Well, I'm a nerd so I'd have to explain that once matter hits the event horizon it's moving at a significant fraction of the speed of light, and sound isn't fast enough to escape because everything is now accelerating towards the black hole, including the matter required to have noise. So no, it's not noisy. If in theory you could chuck a microphone in there without it being instantly destroyed then yes, I imagine it's very noisy as every molecule is ripped apart for the fraction of a second it is able to function.
