I would like to raise an issue that deeply concerns many families in Gaza. There are humanitarian initiatives run by individuals who enjoy widespread trust and popularity around the world. People donate to these initiatives with the sincere hope that their contributions will reach the families who need them most. However, based on what we witness and experience on the ground, many families say they have not received any assistance, despite months of fundraising. In our camp in particular, most families have received little to no aid, even though large fundraising campaigns are frequently promoted in their name. With the new school year less than a month away, many initiatives are collecting donations for school supplies and uniforms, especially since most children in Gaza have lost their clothes and belongings during the war. Yet countless families—including many in our camp—are still waiting for even the most basic support. My intention is not to accuse anyone without evidence. Rather, I am calling for greater transparency and accountability, with clear and public mechanisms for how aid is distributed, so that donations reach the people they were intended to help and donors can be confident that their generosity is making a real difference. If you believe humanitarian aid should reach those who truly need it, I kindly ask you to share this post so that our voices can be heard and donations can reach the families who have been waiting for far too long. I have attached two screenshots related to one of these initiative organizers. One shows aid that they claim is being distributed, although many families say they have received nothing. The other shows a lavish dining table from the organizer’s personal social media account. I am sharing these images so readers can draw their own conclusions. https://gofund.me/83e09b493 #Gaza #Palestine #StandWithGaza #MutualAid #Humanity #SupportPalestine #SaveLives #EmergencyRelief

@nada@manganiello.eu Praising the groups who are most effective at serving Gazans would be very useful. Calling out the bad actors can be very fraught.
