#ThursDeath this week is 2019 LP 'At the Tomb of Sanity' by APOSTATE from Preston, UK. https://apostateuk.bandcamp.com/album/at-the-tomb-of-sanity Apostate have an LP from 2022, but I like this 2019 one more. Growly, chunky, riffy, dynamic, OSDM style- you can really hear the bass, too. Has a brief acoustic interlude. And even some quality screams among the growls. Masterful drums. Decent guitar solos. It's a ripping record. No frills or bullshit on this one, just killer death metal. Probably some Cannibal or Morbid Angel in there. Seriously, check the riffage on track 9.
