My grandmother is like that with my mom. I refuse to go around her, unfortunately my mom still goes around her.

I cut my mother out of my life completely eventually, not fun or easy but some people are poison and shall ever be so. Got to look out for ourselves sometime, even to protect against those who birthed us, sad but the alternative is far worse. I hope your mother can find a way to manage her, I think you do well to steer clear of that shit, flower.
