Without China stepping in to fill the vacuum of aid programs the US has made the world, especially the global south, depend on, millions more people would die. Whatever your opinion on China is, you must recognize that a multipolar world is the only way forward, as relying on one exceptionalist hegemon will always lead to disaster.
