@Lazarou@mastodon.social There's one who effectively lives in our local pub, who is quite open about having been National Front back in the day (yes, he's very old how!). He still has the tattoos. I genuinely think his alcoholism cured his fascism. Hanging out in a family pub almost every evening brings you into contact with a lot of different people. So they do exist. But in my experience it's incredibly rare for those attracted to far-right ideologies to ever change their views.
