At @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net we want the web to be the application platform of choice. So to make PWAs more "native" on Android, I filed an interoperability request with Google under DMA article 6(7) to make WebAPK minting available to all browsers. Hopefully this will be uncontroversial, given that our chums in Mountain View stated that "We are committed to making this available to all browsers on Android", other browsers want it too, and we all 💕 PWAs and the open web. https://issuetracker.google.com/u/1/issues/543049061

It's nice to see folks from Opera and Brave adding their support to our request to be able to use WebAPK minting for better PWA installation on Android. Once again, Vivaldi is happy to be leading the way & fighting for a better web for all. https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/543049061
