@obihahn@na.social As a kid we would drive down in the camper and stay at Fort Wilderness. It was a great facility back then. The Contemporary and Polynesian were the only two property hotels at the time as I recall. RIP Discovery Island and River Country.

@zio@noauthority.social I went the River Country in ‘82. I enjoy seeing photos/videos of it. It’s sad seeing what has happened to that property. I’d like to see Disney do something with it.
