What a difference some rain makes. Yesterday we walked by the river, which was nicely replenished. The sussurous rush of fast flowing water. Smell of damp forest. Dried out moss instantly springing back into life. Today: a green fuzz over the dry dead grass pastures. Dragon's breath clouds rising over the hills. Blackberries suddenly appearing everywhere. #nature #drought #petrichor
