So the doc was pretty good, took me seriously, took their time with me (we actually went like 15 minutes overtime even). I guess me being autistic got lost in the sauce a bit again but that's not new and just not having to hear "you don't look autistic" from a doc was a win, but I'm a bit worried we're going down the "lets treat this with meds as depression and anxiety" route again. But at least the doc agreed I would benefit from longer term support from the mental health services. And I might've fucked up my brain a tad with the medication I've had, so might be a good call to check on that a bit.
Summarum, summarum, they ended up making an urgent referral to a pdoc at the acute psychiatry dept., which means I should get an appointment within a week. Whether that happens is anyone's guess though. What worries me is that they didn't really catch on to my needs for support from the social work side of things, but I guess that'd be the psych department's turf anyway in our system, not the gen med's.
So, now to figure out my spoon situation for my groups and what to do with them. After a nap.
