I bought a color chart (Datacolor Spyder Checkr Photo) but instead of optimizing the RAWs towards color accuracy I optimized it towards the JPGs out of camera. After this my RAWs really looked nearly identical as my JPGs. All of this works with Darktable inbuilt tools:

From this starting point it is easy to optimize your RAWs because the default is already the in camera JPG with the optimized color grading and consistent color reproduction.
