We got these really nice looking shower shelves on an extending post... Except there's no spring. It twists into place and adds no tension, so the shelving unit immediately falls out of the corner
I'm trying to salvage it with pads of Alien Tape in the corner of each shelf, but I've never used that in a wet environment like a shower. I'm expecting the shelving unit to fall at the worst moment once it's loaded up 🫤

@cargot_robbie@urbanists.social I had a curtain rod like that. it was truly annoying! I ended up playing around with the length until I got it 'just right' so that I after setting one end inside the frame where I needed it, I could take a rubber mallet, and while holding a wood shim in place against the opposite end,, I gently tapped that end into place. Very heavy 2 layered curatins are still up
