I used to be disgusted by the sheer amount of bugs that would fly in through an open window at night, now I feel grateful to any visitor passing through at all. I don’t think enough people are terrified of the permanent impact our species has had on this planet. If my relatively short life has witnessed: record heatwaves, the decline of insects and the warming of the oceans, I’m petrified of what the future will bring.
