@KimberlyN@cosocial.ca I will be ok as long as I avoid the typical emotional "hook" they offer up. What usually works is... When my outrage begins to surface, shut out their voice and take a deep breath and exhale, then say , "Pardon me? I'm sorry but I drifted off for a second, would you mind repeating yourself, I'm not sure I heard correctly, and btw, I might remind you that I need you to....." continuing...👇
