Honestly beyond the tacky 'Murica theming here, I still don’t understand how or why energy drinks became the new de facto drink. Far as I can tell, they’re just sodas that taste bad? I’m not exactly championing soda as some positive thing here, but exactly what have we gained by replacing 70% of the soda section with “energy drinks”?
