@juliehuz@mastodon.world I live in Detroit. We got DAILY attack mail against Abdul. Most days I received two or three full page ads against him, alleging that he is racist, sexist, and ageist. If you work a couple jobs (like I do) and are a caretaker (like I am) low income etc etc it is a huge job to do your own research on a candidate with AIPAC millions $$$ specifically targeting us and taking advantage

@Doodlelegs@mastodon.social I TOTALLY get it, but that situation isn't going to get better. And his rhetoric toward moderates was offensive and counter-productive - not bridge building so it is going to be an uphill climb to get them on board. Haley's concession e-mail to donors and supporters was gracious and urged folks to do everything they can to win the seat. I didn't hear the same from him, and that is a bit arrogant and disappointing. I was looking for it.
