#WordWeavers Sep 7: Describe a moment when one of your characters realizes they've made a terrible mistake.
In chapter 2, Kevin Wingard, Angel Castillo, and Margot Chu are sneaking into a corporate office. They've scoped it out with clairvoyance ahead of time, so they know there are three security guards in there. But that's no problem, because Angel has a scarf of invisibility. It's long enough to drape over the other two if... 1/2

...they each stand on one side of them. (Indeed, they made it that long precisely to allow that kind of sharing.) So they use other spells to get up the elevator and into the office, and start walking casually-but-carefully past the guards... and imagine the shock on all three of our heroes' faces when the guards go, "Hey, what the fuck are you people doing here?" (They still don't know just _what_ their mistake was, but boy do they all know they've made one!) 2/2 #WordWeavers
